LIVING FICTION A/W 27/28 THEME #2
The sporting
body becomes a narrative medium. Each individual invents, experiments, and
performs versions of themselves in a world where identity markers, social,
political, spiritual, are unstable or fluid. This is a form of soft
posthumanism: I am not what I am, I am what I play, what I feel, what I
transmit. The body becomes a stage of the self, and sport unfolds as a
fictional, ritual, and sensory space of identity-making. Expressive bodies, chosen
tribes and played identities shape new communities where performance is less
about results than about meaning, style, and connection.
